PodcampAZ was pretty much AMAZING!!!
I don’t really need to say anything other than that. What a great time. First off I apologize to all the people that follow me on Twitter. We were a tweeting mess all weekend with overhead’s, I am here’s, lets eat or meet here, and such… I promise you the mass tweeting is over for a while.
I was able to meet @ialbert & @jacobburke for the first time in person. What a great couple of guys from Tweet Tees. Promoting all weekend was insane, whether it was passing out shirts, tossing wristbands, or dropping buttons we had a great time doing it.
I was also able to meet all my other friends that I follow online via Viddler, Flickr, Facebook, Ustream or Twitter. What an incredible group of Tech savy (Geeks) friends. After Albert finally arrived, we headed over to a Bowling Alley to meet up with everyone for a Halloween party adventure complete with cake, a pseudo birthday, bowling, frolicking, and costumes for most. What a crazy mess but we closed the place down.
The next 2 days were tons of great conferences where I learned a lot. I went expecting to get a few tips and wish I could’ve retained way more than I did because almost every meeting was chock full of amazing advice, questions, and ideas.
I think my favorites were Clintus McGintus on filming and video. Talked about always being ready, and how he categorizes his videos. I found it quite educational, and it kinda caught me off guard because in my first few videos posted on Viddler he had actually left me comments before we ever knew each other. Pretty crazy, considering I spent a lot of the weekend with him in the group I was in. I also really enjoyed the session on Podcasting and the free software available for use over the internet.
Saturday night Albert took us out to Claim Jumpers for dinner to thank us for helping promote Tweet Tees all weekend, and to discuss some future plans and ideas for Tweet Tees. I hope everything works out cause what he has planned is going to be very cool it we can pull it off. If you don’t already keep an eye on the Tweet Tees site as more info should be coming out shortly.
I also have some big things I am working on as well with Jacob Burke so keep looking for something on that shortly. Hopefully we’ll be going viral very soon.
Well that’s about all I got for now… don’t want to go on much more here as I will be posting a video shortly.
