Hey everyone,
So I finally made it out of the Eastern half of the United States… only took me about 3 years, and 2 close friends to do it.
I am in Tempe, Arizona waiting for the last member of our group to show up from Tweet Tees. He had some issues with his flight earlier, but he is in the air on his way here now. I must say Arizona didn’t look anything like I imagined in my head before arriving, however it is growing on me rather quickly.
The weather has been phenomenal. It is 90+ degrees here, but with no humidity unlike Michigan it is completely pleasant outside. I have spent more time in the hotel pool the past 2 days then the entire summer in Michigan.
I am in Arizona with Tweet Tees for Podcamp AZ, a unconference for Tech junkies, Podcasters, and anyone who uses Social Media on the internet. While I am excited to be here just to be out of Michigan, and to be away from work for a well deserved & needed vacation I am even more excited to learn how to utilize the internet to my advantage.
Brent Spore has lined up some incredible speakers for the event, and I wish there was enough time to be able to hear them all, as opposed to being only able to pick and choose between them all. Still it’s going to make for a incredible weekend.
I am also excited to meet up with my friend Dawn. She moved back home to Arizona about a year ago, and since I am here it will be “good times” to reconnect with her and see how the past year has treated her. We’ll have to go get lunch or Dinner and catch up.
I also get to meet up with all of my new internet friends I have made this year. It will be great to meet each and every one of them in person. I can’t wait for all of us to get together Friday night at the Halloween Party should be a blast!

Well that’s it for now, I am off to enjoy a 80 degree night until @ialbert shows up, and we head off to the Halloween Party to meet the rest of our Twittering crew here for Podcamp.
